Overview

MS Ophthalmology is a three-year postgraduate programme that focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, microsurgical management, and prevention of disorders affecting the eye and visual system. Residents gain hands-on experience in cataract surgery, glaucoma, corneal diseases, retinal disorders, pediatric ophthalmology, ocular trauma, and community ophthalmology through structured clinical postings and surgical training.

Curriculum Details

Eligibility Criteria

• MBBS degree from a recognized Medical College.
• Permanent or provisional registration with NMC/State Medical Council.
• Qualified NEET-PG examination as per Government/NMC guidelines.
• Admission shall be as per institutional and regulatory norms.
